John and Jennyffer chose the enchanting city of Noto to celebrate their love story, blending the bride’s Colombian roots with the groom’s Italian heritage in an unforgettable wedding. With few loved ones from around the globe, they exchanged vows on a warm late August afternoon in the stunning Chiesa di San Francesco all’Immacolata, a baroque gem nestled in the heart of Noto.

The colour palette was carefully curated to mirror the vibrant Sicilian atmosphere. From soft blush tones to the warm hues of blooming coral figs, from intense yellows to olive greens, and hints of blue-violet reminiscent of September’s grape harvest: each detail narrated the tale of this magical island. The invitations set the perfect tone for the wedding, personalized with hand-fringed cotton paper, and embellished with silk ribbon and rose gold wax seals.

Their reception unfolded at “La Chiusa,” a charming Sicilian country house steeped in history and allure, blending authentic local flair with modern elegance. A single imperial table was set amidst the enchanting olive grove, adorned with blush tablecloths and an array of fresh flowers and seasonal fruits in metal bowls and terracotta vases. As the sun dipped below the horizon, crystal chandeliers and flickering candlelight created an intimate yet romantic ambiance. The catering, expertly crafted by the Michelin-starred chefs of Squiseating, delighted guests with a gourmet reinterpretation of Sicilian classics.

The evening was serenaded by the sweet melodies of an all-female string quartet and the captivating rhythm of a DJ set, keeping everyone dancing until the early hours with an eclectic selection of international music. With their wedding in Noto, John and Jennyffer gifted their guests a moment of pure magic, celebrating their love amidst the picturesque Sicilian landscapes and traditions.
