A Christmas time wedding at Castello Xirumi 

In a chilly winter day, Giovanni and Cristina sealed their love story at the charming Basilica della Collegiata in the historic centre of Catania, during one of the most magical times of the year: Christmas.

A winter colour palette, featuring shades of burgundy, pine green, and gold, highlighted the elegance and simplicity of the couple while keeping the Christmas mood in focus.

The enchanting Castello Xirumi Serravalle, just a few kilometres from Catania, was transformed for the occasion with Christmas decorations on walls and chandeliers. Imperial tables adorned with floral runners and golden candelabras, menus, and place cards in modern calligraphy decorated with pinecones and scented with cinnamon added an extra touch of magic.

Following the meal, in the Arabella Hall a sweet confetti display with gift packages and an abundance of candles and fairy lights recreated a sparkling atmosphere, warming the hearts of the newlyweds and their guests. A dedicated corner for hot chocolate, featuring assorted cookies, candies, and toppings, added an extra layer of magic to the Christmas ambiance. Instead of a traditional guestbook, a series of Christmas postcards to be mailed in a post-box allowed space for the heartfelt words and thoughts of friends and family.

Amidst the enchantment of Christmas and the timeless elegance of the venue, Giovanni and Cristina embarked on their journey together, promising each other eternal love.
